Twitter has recently announced a list of the most popular celebrities on their platform for the year 2016. By popular we mean the celebrities who were the most talked about in the year gone by on twitter. Guess who topped the list?
In male actors, none other than our very own, King Khan with 36% share of discussions that occured on twitter. Shah Rukh Khan is too active on twitter at all circumstances and therefore is the winner of this race.
Second position is taken by the sultan of Bollywood, Salman Khan with 18% of share. Surprisingly, the third position is taken up by Varun Dhawan who still belongs to the category of young actors in Bollywood and this rank is too much of a confidence booster for him.
A similar list of female celebrities was announced by twitter and the Quantico ruler Priyanka Chopra made sure that she hits the top position of the list. She has to be the best in whatever she does which gave her 23% share in the discussions, followed by Alia Bhatt who got 18% share. Whereas Deepika Padukone is on the third position of the list.
In the list of most discussed movies of 2016, Salman‘s “Sultan” tops the list while Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan‘s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil‘ stood second in the rundown.
