A few days back, comedian Kapil Sharma, who has been entertaining his fans and audience with a successful career spanning almost a decade now, landed himself into a major trouble. The Comedian star recently tweeted how BMC official demanded a bribe of Rs 5 Lakh from him to build an office in Andheri, Mumbai. He even tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his tweeted asking, “Yeh hai aapke achhe din?”
Kapil‘s tweet kicked off a storm and many political parties protested against him. He was also threatened and was asked to stall the shooting of his show, “The Kapil Sharma Show“.
In an exclusive interview with BOC, veteran actor Anupam Kher, who will be seen in M.S Dhoni-The Untold Story, was asked what is his view on the Kapil Sharma controversy and that if it was right for him to tweet.
Coming with a very sensible opinion, Anupam Kher said, “I was little surprised with his reaction not because what he said may not be true, I just feel that it’s important to voice your concerns but maybe do it through authorities. Maybe you have to go through various people. Go to Prime minister straight away with municipal problems and things like that. Then it’s a different point of view but that’s again his point of view and I am sure he is dealing with it.
He continued saying, “I am glad that Chief Minister of Maharashtra immediately responded to him and asked him who it is. I think he must have felt angry and then he must have tweeted that.”
