Breaking the age old stereotype of women laying low during her pregnancy has been broken by Kareena and how!!
Latest is where everyone is curious to know the gender of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena’s child, who is all set to arrive in the world sometime early December. From suggesting names like ‘Saifeena’ to presuming who the baby would look-like by creating random photo collages, people are literally going over the top! In fact, at one point in time, there were rumours about how the parents-to-be have already figured out their baby’s gender through sex determination test. It was obviously untrue.
In an interview with a popular daily, when mommy-to-be was asked about her personal preference of having a girl or a boy, she gave the most apt answer. The Ki and Ka star said, “The strange part is that Saif and I have never really asked ourselves whether we want a boy or a girl. It’s the first time, so we want what God has decided for us. That’s why we haven’t even thought of names. Saif loves surprises, and he likes the excitement of not knowing. So he said ‘Listen, let’s just keep it at that!‘”
Also, Saif too had recently issued a statement about his baby saying, “I want to let everyone know that we have not yet had our child and we still don’t know the sex of the child. We will not be having our child in London and the name of the child will definitely not be called ‘Saifeena’.”
Kareena knows that Saif is going to be the coolest father ever! In the same interview, she said, “Saif has been a parent before. He is a father, and the coolest one I know. He is amazing with his children, and they are so well brought up. I just want him to be like that with our child. I don’t know how I’m going to be as a mother. But with Saif, it’s quite strange: Saif is very spoiled, and he spoils me a lot too. But with his children, he’s very grounded. Suddenly, he is all stable-headed and becomes another person. It’s quite amazing.”
Aww, that’s cute, isn’t it? As the day draws closer, surely the parents-to-be are gearing up for the arrival of their bundle of joy!
