Arijit Singh, who is known for his mesmerizing voice is now seen in the news for completely different thing. The singer was threatened by an underworld gangster Ravi Pujari over the phone.
Pujari asked Arijit to give him the hafta of Rs 5 crore. Singh doesn’t seem to be scared and said this is the first time that something like this had happened to him, but he doesn’t think it’s a big deal. He said that all the organizers desire to make money, but involving someone like Ravi Pujari is becoming an out of hand case. Arijit singh doesn’t backup and he logged a complaint against the same at Oshiwara Police station.
When Arijit Singh refused to pay him the money, the gangster demanded for a free show for himself and his friends. But he didn’t accept that either. Usually actors demand for Police protection in such cases, but the actor refused that too. Must say, this kind of courage only Arijit Singh could have.
The singer told about his intimacy with Nattu Bhai, who handles the various shows and he is also sponsoring his US tour. The team decided not to go with that Bhai this time as he bargains for lower deals. So Singh predicts that Nattu Bhai might have contacts with Ravi Pujari. Ravi Pujari exerted a lot of pressure on Arijit’s manager while he kept busy with his recordings.
