Deepika Padukone‘s and Ranbir Kapoor‘s scorching chemistry had set the screens ablaze, in films like Bachna Ae Haseeno, and more recently, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. And now, the talented and good looking pair are due to share screen space again, in Imtiaz Ali’s next, Tamasha.
At a recent media interaction, Deepika Padukone divulged that she was excited to be working again with her former beau and now “good friend” Ranbir Kapoor. She said, “Yes, a film that I’m allowed to talk about is Imtiaz Ali’s next where Ranbir (Kapoor) and I are again coming together. Imtiaz is one of my favourite directors. And Ranbir and I have given hits such as Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013) and Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008). I’m really excited to be working on yet another film with someone who is a great friend.”
However, Deepika refused to comment on her pairing with current flame Ranveer Singh in Bajirao Mastani. “I am not allowed to say anything about Bajirao Mastani.”
Then, there is her exciting third-time-round pairing with Shah Rukh Khan, with whom she will be seen in Happy New Year.
Now, once again their fans who loved their romantic saga in their previous movie, will experience it yet again in ‘Tamasha‘, reportedly to be helmed by Imtiaz Ali. This project was earlier in the news as ‘Window Seat‘, but now has been renamed as ‘Tamasha‘ and is set to go on floors in June.
Well, we only hope Ranbir Kapoor‘s current flame Katrina Kaif, and Deepika Padukone‘s Ranveer Singh give a green sign to their Tamasha!
