Be it their break-up or love life, the two were always spoken of by almost everyone. Ranbir and Deepika have always taken upon media when the two are together. More than the two, their fans were obsessed with their relationship.

Despite of all, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone have remained good friends after the ultimate split and have never been spotted awkwardly anytime. They both moved on with their respective new lovers. We truly love their work and would be glad to see them again, we’re your fans too!

Imtiaz Ali was interviewed by HT, and while speaking of Deepika Padukone individually, the director showered so much of humbleness and pride for the actress, he said “Her career growth is out there for the whole world to see. I am the happiest about it because when I first met her, even before her debut film had released, I was so thrilled about this new actress coming into Bollywood. She is shy, so she took a long time to show what she can do. But now, there’s a sense of ease with which she approaches her work. During Love Aaj Kal (2009), I remember I had to make her comfortable and push her. Now, that’s not needed. ”

Speaking of his career, he told, “Theatre has been a very important element in my life. It has taught me many things that I realize now, when I’m on the sets. I never worked towards being a director. I don’t know how it happened. It still surprises me that I am a film director. Basically, my life has been a series of incidents and accidents, and I am a film director by accident. From theatre, I moved to TV. But I kept steering through my career, not knowing where I was going. But cinema is the world I feel I belong to. I guess, they (theatre and TV industry members) didn’t like me (smiles).”

The former filmmaker further revealed that he is currently busy with Shah Rukh Khan on ‘Raula’, so he’s not sure when he is he going to chase them for the play. At least not for now. Not at all.
