Google and IIFA have partnered and have launched a digital platform, where one can search nominations, hangout LIVE with stars, keep a track of the latest happenings, parties of the stare and more.

Google has used Google Search Trends, Google+ and YouTube to bring this experience to its fans.

Several stars including Abhishek Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan also have participated and had Google Hangout sessions with fans.

“The idea is to get the action closer to millions of fans not just on their computer screens, but also mobiles”, said Sandeep Menon, director marketing, Google India.

With this partnership it looks like we are in for a huge treat with technology, Bollywood and Indian cinema, hand-in-hand.
