[tps_footer]‘Sarabjit’ is definitely a movie that audiences as well as critics are looking forward to because it looks so promising. Right from Randeep Hooda’s massive transformation to the beautiful Aishwarya’s de-glam avatar, there is a lot of talent that is seen brewing in the film. The movie is based on a real life story of Sarabjit Singh who was convicted for spying and terrorism and has to languish in a Pakistani jail for 23 years, while his sister Dalbir Kaur, tried vigorously to release him throughout his ordeal.

Well, the buzz surrounding the film heightened when the first look and few stills from the film were released. However, the biggest reactions from audiences came after the ‘spine-chilling’ performances seen in the trailer. The film premiered at the 2016 Cannes International Film Festival recently and from the looks of those who attended it, the move is going to be a power-packed one.
“’Sarabjit’ an intense dramatic film… Pertinent and performed with great aplomb! Congratulations!” Amitabh tweeted. Well, since the senior Bachchan is known to be very selective in his praise, we’re sure that daughter-in-law Aishwarya’s performances must have appealed him on some level. The film’s director Omung Kumar retweeted Big B’s tweet and added “Thank you so much, sir and thank you for coming for the premiere.”
