Here’s What Sony TV Has To Say On The Kapil Sharma Show Going Off-Air!

Sony TV rubbishes the rumours of The Kapil Sharma Show going off-air.

In between the Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover controversy, if there is anything that has suffered the most, then it is The Kapil Sharma Show. After being reportedly abandoned by Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar have also left the show.

The shoot of an episode had to be cancelled last week on Wednesday as the cast did not turn up on the set. Also, Kapil had to shoot two episodes with only half of his team as the other half including Dr. Mashoor Gulati was not ready to work any more with the comedy king.

Also, there have been rumours swirling around for a few days now that the show is going off-air as the makers have not been able to convince the team to work together.

Amidst all this, a source close to the Sony TV Channel has said that the channel does not plan to sack the show. The source says, “The show is not going off-air any time soon. If any further decision is taken, we will inform the media about it and issue a statement. As far as the upcoming episodes are concerned, we do have a bank of some episodes but we are figuring something out for the future episodes.”

It was also mentioned by the source that Raju Srivastava, who was a guest in a recent episode, is not going to be a permanent member of the show.

With all the rumours cropping up, now and then everyday, all we can do is wait and watch what the future has in store for The Kapil Sharma Show.
