So Imran Khan is finally out of his paternity leave. Blessed with a daughter, the doting father is ready to get back on the sets and don a new character. First on his list is Saali Kuttiya which is now called Katti Batti.
A Nikhil Advani film, it also also stars Ileana D’Cruz opposite him. Now it is not known yet what is the nature of the plot, but rumours suggest it is a romantic story. It might start rolling by the end of June or first week of July.
The film apparently was on hold all this while because of Imran’s paternity leave. In fact, when the tentative title Saali Kuttiya was announced, it created a lot of ruckus. It was not only unusual but also objectionable. With a name change and the hero back in the team, Nikhil seems all set to start the film.
Imran lost out on many projects in last couple of months, Milan Talkies changed hands from him to Varun Dhawan. He also stepped out of Vikramaditya Motwane’s Bhavesh Joshi which went to Sidharth Malhotra. He is getting increasingly replaced by the new crop of actors and so this seems the right time to be back in business. What say people?
