Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif may reunite for Karan Johar’s next film!
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are one of the most loved on-screen couples. Their fans have been missing the lovely duo for a long time. We had last seen them as a pair in Kabir Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger in the year 2012. And now they have again teamed up after five years for Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tiger Zinda Hai, which is the sequel of Ek Tha Tiger.
But now the reports are doing rounds that the two of them might be doing another film together. DNA quoted a source saying, “While KJo’s next directorial will be with Ranbir Kapoor, he wants to produce a film with Salman and Katrina in the lead as he finds their chemistry sizzling.”
It is reported that the Pakistani actor Fawad Khan was earlier meant to be cast opposite Katrina. But now due to the ban on Pakistani actors in Indian films, this couldn’t be possible as the source says, “Earlier, the same film was to star Pakistan actor Fawad Khan along with Katrina, but with the ban on Pakistani actors during Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, that is not happening.”
The source adds further, “Hence the filmmaker was keen to rope in Salman. The script is being reworked for Dabangg Khan and to make the character more suitable to him. The pre-production work on the film has begun.”
Meanwhile, talking about their upcoming films, Salman Khan has geared up for the promotions of his upcoming film Tubelight. which is directed by Kabir Khan. On the other hand, Katrina Kaif will be seen opposite ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor in their much-delayed film, Jagga Jasoos. The film is releasing on July 14.
