Karan Johar Shares Emotional Message On His Father Yash Johar’s Birth Anniversary

Bollywood director and producer Karan Johar was very close to his father Yash Johar. He always claims that the vision of filming he has is naturally gifted from his father. Yash Johar was one of the eminent Bollywood producers. He is the founder of Dharma Productions (1976), whose legacy is continued by Karan. Yash Ji is a producer of superhit films like Dostana, Agneepath (1990), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and many more. He died on June 26, 2004, due to a chest infection.

Today, it is the producer’s 87th birth anniversary. On this special day, KJo took to his Twitter to express his love and respect to his late father. Karan was completely devastated on losing his father in 2004. He shared a picture of his father attached to his tweet. His tweet says, ‘Thank you Dad…for all the values you gave me…the dignity you expected of me….and the lessons you taught me…’

KJo has an upcoming film, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anushka Sharma, and Fawad Khan in titular roles. It is releasing on October 28.
