A day ago, leading newspaper Times Of India (TOI) landed itself in a trouble after they created major blunder by publishing Kate Middleton’s upskirt photograph on the front page of the newspaper while she was paying homage to martyred soldiers at the Amar Jawan Jyoti. This invited lots of ire from readers, as it didn’t go well for them.
Well, after the photo fiasco and lots of criticism, Times of India’s twitter accounts were hacked by miscreants today morning. The editor of the newspaper, Prasad Sanyal took to his twitter handle this morning to reveal about the same. He tweeted, “Our handles @TOISportsNews and @TOIIndiaNews were hacked by people calling themselves the Phantom Squad. We condemn this act of mischief.”
Well, instead of expressing empathy, readers and Twitterati began trolling them with various questions. TOI did apologise for the mistake but well, Twitterati didn’t leave a chance to make them realize that how badly it can affect them by playing with the readers and creating such blunders.
Here are some of the tweets by the users over TOI hacked accounts.
