“If there can be a temple for Amitabh Bachchan, why can’t there be a temple for Salman Khan? He’s a very good man who wants nothing but good for everyone and even takes someone else’s fault on his own head. I want to explain the truth of the whole incident through my film,” stated Ranjeet Sharma.

When asked to explain his role in the film, debutant Usmaan Khan hesitantly said, “Our producer Ranjeet Sharma has given me the role of Salman Khan himself to portray, but saying that is a bit awkward for me as I’ve been inspired by him from the beginning. I’ve followed him from the start but I never thought that I would get to act in his own real story. I feel very lucky about it.”

The filmmaker further added that the necessary paperwork for Qaidi No. 210 have already been sanctioned and stated that his admiration for Salman Khan will make sure that the film does not portray the superstar in negative image. Salman Khan is currently shooting for his film Bajrangi Bhaijaan that releases on July 17, 2015.
