After Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Zarine Khan now it’s time for our Mast Mast girl Raveena Tandon to express her views on body shaming and annoying standards of people to pass a judgement for the other person on the basis of their body. Raveena has heavily criticized the take of media and critics who kept reporting various things about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s weight after giving birth to her daughter Aaradhya. Don’t females put on weight after pregnancy? Why does that need to be under a microscopic observation? Losing weight takes a lot of time and unfortunately Aishwarya was targeted for her weight gain every now and then. It was not entertaining or pleasing to see that, but still gorgeous Aishwarya maintained a dignified silence for rubbish news and weird judgements.
Now, Raveena Tandon has a message for everyone which she has written in her column for a leading daily. Its really sweet to see our friends taking a stand for us and we wonder what are Aishwarya’s reaction on this.
Here’s the message from Raveena Tandon, check it out and tell us your views on body shaming.
“An unhealthy precedent — the media wasn’t too forgiving after my friend Aishwarya had her baby. They went on and on about her baby weight ! What gives !?? I remember I’d just gotten over and through the same treatment when they started on her! How unjust is that ! I mean…give the women a break ! Our body has just gone through the beautiful process of creating and developing a whole new life and bringing its afely into thisworld! And some cads don’t even give you that breathing space to be when you just want to be and enjoy the moment !”
