The 63rd National Film Awards ceremony was filled with Bollywood celebrities. B-town talent bundles Amitabh Bachchan, Kangana Ranaut, Kabir Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Manoj Kumar won laurels at the National Awards.
Senior superstar Amitabh Bachchan who is an institute of talent received the National Award for his impressive acting in the film 'Piku'. Big B played the character of a Bengali father in the film. Amitabh Bachchan looked extremely confident in his black toned formal attire.
Kangana Ranaut who is proving her talent with each of her passing films was also awarded with the prestigious National Award. The starlet was applauded for her role in the film ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’. The actress played a double role in the film which was adored by all. Kangana graced the ceremony wearing a shimmery off shoulder gown. The fashion icon looked pretty as always.
Amazing filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali who directed the blockbuster ‘Bajirao Mastani’ also received the National Award for the stated film. The film won the award for the best choreography also.
‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ director Kabir Khan was awarded with the National Award for providing the audience with the most entertaining film. Apart from these, veteran star Manoj Kumar was awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke award for his contribution to the cinema with his patriotic films.
