Bollywood actor Salman Khan was recently shooting for his upcoming film ‘Sultan‘ in Uttar Pradesh. After wrapping up the shoot, Salman took to twitter to thank Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and few others for making the shoot hassle free. Well, no film is complete without a controversy and the actor has found him in a legal trouble again.
According to reports, a complaint has been filed in a Muzaffarnagar court against Salman and ‘Sultan‘ director Ali Abbas Zafar. Reportedly, a complaint has been filed for showing Bihargarh village in Morna Tehsil as Rewari (Haryana). The hearing of the case would take place on May 3.
Reports suggest, complainant Ehtesham Siddiq has alleged that the makers of the film were shooting in the tehsil, but they showed the place to be Rewari while shooting. Well, Salman’s ‘Sultan‘ is courting at the moment, we wonder what would be the results over the new legal trouble.
The ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan‘ star had begun with the shooting of the film with special ‘akhada’ created for the wrestling scenes. Surprisingly, the makers of the film had created Haryana set in UP, which had left onlookers wondered why they did not go to shoot in Haryana.
‘Sultan‘ is being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, which stars Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma in lead roles. The film is based on a Haryanvi wrestler named ‘Sultan Ali Khan’, played by Salman in the film. Sultan will release this year on Eid.
