The young and bubbly actress of Bollywood Alia Bhatt has quite an odd wish. Unlike actresses who dream of being on the cover of top magazines, Alia wants to be on the posters of small town beauty parlours. According to her, being on the posters of such parlours shows how famous an actress is.
Growing up in a family where a lot of people belonged to the film industry, Alia Bhatt was destined to be an actress. And the debutant has done a good job herself over the past few years. All of her movies have faired well and even won her awards for her performances. But the real motto for the 21-year-old actress is to be famous amongst the masses.
Sources revealed that the actress has always wanted to see herself on the posters of small town beauty parlours since the time she was very young. Till date actresses like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Preity Zinta, Rekha have captured the spaces on small town parlour walls and doors. Seems like Alia Bhatt wants to join this very league.
A source revealed, “Whoever has travelled to small towns wouldn’t have missed noticing various actresses’ posters on the walls, doors, glass windows and even interiors of small beauty parlours, which are spread across the interiors of the country. Ever since Alia was very young, she has had the wish to be on those posters. According to Alia, when an actor’s posters adorn such beauty parlours, it becomes an automatic proof of her popularity, beauty quotient and success.”
When asked about the same the Highway actress said, “It’s my desire to be on those posters. Most importantly, I feel they prove your popularity and reach among the masses, which is something I would love to achieve.”
Alia Bhatt will be seen starring with Shahid Kapoor in Shandaar and Udta Punjab next.
