Oops! Sanjay Dutt TAUNTED Ranbir Kapoor For Not Being Macho-Watch Video

Partying till wee hours in morning in B-Town has its pros and cons. People dance and drink their hearts out and socialize with their kind. Sanjay Dutt hosted one such party at his residence and what followed was expected to say the least. He got evidently drunk and poked fun at Ranbir’s choice of movies, Ranbir was also the only one not drinking.

Party saw in attendance Ranbir Kapoor, Rajkumar Hirani and David Dhawan amongst others who were partying at Sanju’s residence till wee hours in the morning. An inebriated Dutt told RK junior, who is a frequent visitor at Dutt’s residence that he wants to produce a film with Ranbir in it. To which the Kapoor lad replied ‘Of course’. Then, with a straight face, Dutt said, ‘The film is called Laddoo’. Ranbir repeated the word inquisitively, only to receive a response, “Yes, after that we will make films called Imarti, Jalebi and then Peda.”

Maybe now was when Ranbir got a whiff of Dutt’s joke and there was silence. Then Sanju exploded,”I watched Barfi! on TV recently. What made you do a film like that? @#$^&* bloody hell, you are playing me in the Sanjay Dutt biopic. I don’t know how they cast you.”

For whatever reason, Sanju Baba didn’t stop there. He went on, “You should be a macho man. Act in macho films. You can’t be doing films like Barfi!. You should be holding guns and doing action films. Do you think actors like me, Salman (Khan) and Ajay (Devgn) would have been around for so many years, if we had not played macho characters on screen? You have no connect with the masses and that is very important.”

Ranbir decided to keep his cool and did not argue back or say anything to retort any statements made by the drunken Dutt. Sanjay Dutt’s wife, Maanayata came in at the right time; broke the awkward silence and everyone had dinner.

Ranbir through this incident has shown immense grace and composure to proven the kind of human he is. On the other hand, such a remark by Dutt is disgraceful and shows how he believes that movies require no brain or talent, just brawns. Barfi was one of the best examples of fine acting in Bollywood.
