Like the doctor’s children’s obvious choice of career is expected to be a doctor, the same funda seems to be applicable to an actor’s child. There has been constant buzz about Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan and Boney Kapoor and Sridevi’s elder daughter Jhanvi Kapoor making their grand Bollywood debuts soon.
Both set of mothers have previously refuted to such rumors stating their daughters are young and should concentrate on their education for now and then let destiny decide their career paths.
Recently the doting mother, Sridevi has been reported to have become rather stricter with her elder daughter, Jhanvi and laid down some ground rules. Amongst other things, Jhanvi is forbidden from having boyfriends or even male friends for that matter!
This comes after a release of a picture that took internet by storm. In the said picture, Jhanvi was seen kissing her boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya, grandson of Sushil Kumar Shinde. And no wonder that happened considering that Jhanvi is gearing up for her big Bollywood debut; the English Vinglish star has levied some strict rules on her daughter!
As we all know, Sridevi, who was the first female Superstar in Indian cinema, had entered the big bad world of Bollywood at a very tender age. Because of this she followed everything her mother asked her to. She even continued the ‘Ask Mummy’ format whenever questioned by the media for quite some time. She wants her daughter to now do the same. Infact, when Jhanvi was called to get her side of story on this, she stuck to Sridevi’s classic answer, ‘Ask Mummy’ which clearly meant no one was getting an answer!
