MUMBAI: Bollywood certainly went gaga over legendary rock band Guns N Roses, who performed for adoring fans in the city, over the weekend.
Our eager beaver shutterbugs spotted stars like Sanjay Dutt, Gul Panag, Malaika Arora Khan, Lara Dutta, Farhan Akhtar and Sunny Leone at the concert.
The city came to a complete standstill, as thousands of rock fans gathered at the concert venue, to party with American rock band Guns N Roses; famous for epic anthems like ‘Sweet Child of Mine’, among many others. Bollywood’s rock brigade was represented by Farhan Akhtar (of ‘Rock On’ fame), who led the charge and was seen letting his hair down at the show.
Farhan showed up with his avant garde hairstylist wife Adhuna, and the two were seen having a blast at the concert. Farhan chose a simple black tee- blue jeans combo, and his wife went androgynous in a white shirt, denim waistcoat and chic nerdy reading glasses. Malaika, the yummy mummy, chose to show off her perfect figure in a pair of denim shorts and a strappy top. Lara Dutta kept it simple in a white kurti and jeans, and was seen with hubby Mahesh Bhupathi, the tennis star.
Sanjay Dutt and Manyata looked like they were going to jump onstage any minute, given their ultra cool yet futuristic biker-chic leather ensembles. This look was naturally perfect for a rock concert.
Post the fun-filled concert, we received news that the party continued at Farhan’s residence. Farhan hosted a dinner for his concert buddies, where good friends Arbaaz Khan and Amrita Arora joined in. We are sure it was a mad night of revelry, among B’town’s concert junkies! Rock on!
