Salman received criticism from all ends when he compared his training for the film ‘Sultan’ to feeling like a raped woman. The actor received hate tweets and comments for his irresponsible stance.

The Dabangg Khan has still not apologized for his comment. Many also opined that Salman Khan’s film ‘Sultan’ should be banned. However, the issue has now died out from the minds of the masses. The film not only released but it is also the blockbuster of the year.

Many Bollywood celebrities voiced their viewpoints for Salman’s comments but most of the stars preferred to stay mum.  Singer Sona Mohapatra was one of the few stars who was openly against the comment; the singer spoke about the insensitivity of the statement and had to bear all sorts of abuse on social networking sites through Salman Khan’s fans.

The raped woman statement had various angles to it. While some said Salman Khan has been misquoted some opined that he did not mean what he said.
