Student of The Year director Karan Johar teamed up with Chennai Express director Rohit Shetty for the remake of Bollywood’s iconic film Ram Lakhan. There were a lot of rumours revolving the star cast of the much anticipated upcoming film. If recent rumours are anywhere to be true, Karan Johar has finally found his Ram and Lakhan! Yes, according to rumours, the film will star Ranbir Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra in the lead roles in Ram Lakhan‘s remake.

There were a lot of rumours about the star cast of the film, so much that Karan himself cleared the air earlier by saying that the star cast hasn’t been finalized yet. But recent reports suggest that the producer and director of the film were looking for someone who has a personality like the original characters of the film and the search ended on Ranbir Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra.

Reportedly, Ranbir will play Jackie Shroff’s character, while Sidharth will play Anil Kapoor‘s character in the remake of Ram Lakhan. We are more than happy with the star cast. However, nor Karan, neither the actors have yet confirmed the rumours.

The film will be directed by Rohit Shetty. Since Rohit Shetty is busy shooting his upcoming film Dilwale, Ram Lakhan remake is likely to go on floors in 2016.
