If reports are anywhere to be true, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film Bajirao Mastani is likely to miss its Christmas release. According to reports, Ranveer Singh’s shoulder injury has delayed film’s shoot. The star is yet to recover completely and resume the shooting. This has affected film’s on going progress and release date.
Ranveer Singh was in Rajasthan, shooting for Bajirao Mastani when he fell from the horse and dislocated his shoulder. The actor underwent a surgery for his shoulder this month. Ranveer Singh is making progress with his health, but he has not recovered completely yet. Though the shooting of the film is on-going, there were few scenes that had to be shot in April. But those scenes were left incomplete and now the entire team of Bajirao Mastani has to wait for monsoon season to pass by in order to get done with those sequences. Because of this long wait, the film’s shooting will most likely wrap up later this year, so the Christmas release for Bajirao Mastani seems out of the equation right now.
Now if the reports are true, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Bajirao Mastani, which was to clash with Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale, will not release this year Christmas. The film will hit theatres early 2016. However, the director of the film hasn’t yet confirmed the rumours. The period drama film also stars Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra.
