[tps_footer]Bollywood’s Khiladi Akshay Kumar has been roaring with success at the box office by giving back to back blockbuster movies like Baby, Holiday:A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, Brothers, and now it’s Housefull 3 which is making the whole nation laugh and having a good time.
Akshay was super excited about the third installment of the successful franchise Housefull and unfortunately director Sajid Khan was not a part of it but Housefull 3 has reportedly crossed the mark of 80 crores in just one week and it’s heading towards the 100 crore club.
The makers of Housefull 3 and the entire star cast of this star-studded flick consisting of Riteish Deshmukh, Nargis Fakhri, Abhishek Bachchan, Lisa Haydon, Akshay Kumar and Jacqueline Fernandez have all the reasons to smile and celebrate the huge success of their latest release but during a recent interview, media didn’t spare to ask Akshay Kumar about his take on the whole Udta Punjab Controversy and his reaction was hilarious.
Akshay Kumar is known for his guts, humour, outspokenness, and sensibility too. Bollywood has majorly shown support towards the star cast and makers of Udta Punjab against the 89 cuts dictated by the Censor Board and it’s tough for the Udta Punjab co-producer Anurag Kashyap and director Abhishek Chaubey to digest so many cuts and restrictions as nothing will be worth watching after deleting so many scenes and dialogues but Censor Board has taken their action against the excessive use of drugs, abusive language, and explicit scenes.
Recently, Akshay Kumar was asked for his take on this current issue and instead of answering the question seriously he just passed the mic saying that he wants Chunky Pandey to answer this question and later Chunky was busy spreading his humour and poked fun at the Udta Punjab‘s title saying that Yeh Punjab kaise udta hain? Udte toh tote hain and the entire star cast of Housefull 3 kept laughing but Akshay Kumar didn’t succeed in dodging this question for the second time and finally, he said Jawab toh Chunky he dengay aur Udta Punjab release kab ho rahi hain aapko pata hain?
He got an answer that Udta Punjab will release two weeks later so Akshay said if the release date of Udta Punjab gets postponed it’s good and beneficial for Housefull 3, he said yeh toh hamare liye achcha hain and the entire cast of Housefull 3 mocked Udta Punjab and the struggles it’s going through. Akki is more focused on the box office collection of his own movie and not that bothered about the issues Udta Punjab is going through or maybe it’s just his way of dealing with the question hurled at him again and again.[/tps_footer]
