Roy Was A Wrong Choice Says Ranbir Kapoor

After looking at the trailer of the film, we are nothing but excited to watch Ranbir in Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet. After giving Roy, which failed to create magic at the Box Office, Ranbir’s fans are expecting a lot from the actor and Ranbir knows that people have high expectations from him, as he comes from a family of actors.

Barfi actor recently talked about his last film, Roy, which didn’t do a good business at the Box Office. The actor revealed that doing the film was a wrong choice but he did it anyway for his friend. “At times when I have agreed to work for friendship, I have realized my folly. Belonging to a family of actors, audiences expect a lot from me. Roy was a wrong choice but I decided to work in it because no one was ready to work for my friend. However, now I have realized that friendship and professionalism need to be dealt with separately,” Ranbir Kapoor said.

Directed by Ranbir Kapoor’s childhood friend Vikramjit Singh, Roy told a story about an art thief named Roy, played by Ranbir Kapoor, who leads a grave and reserved life. However, the thief falls in love with Ayesha, played by Jacqueline Fernandez. The film also starred Arjun Rampal, who plays the role of a film director. On work front, we’ll get to see Ranbir in Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet, which releases this Friday, on May 15. The romantic drama also stars Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar.
