Saif Ali Khan and Amrita met each other for the first time at a party and then on the sets of Rahul Ruwail’s film in which Kajol was also a part. The two fell in love with each other and married in 1991. However, their marriage was no easy. While they were planning to marry, Saif’s parents were disapproving of their relationship as Amrita Singh was almost twelve years older than the ‘Chota Nawab’. While mom Sharmila and dad Mansoor made their feelings quite clear, Saif was in no mood to change his decision to marry the actress.
