PK movie has already been surrounded with controversies for posters, is now on another attack for high ticket rates. To cover the Big budget investment of the movie, ticket rates have been high.
Maratha Mandir and mini-multiplex Gaiety Galaxy have reject to screen PK saying its not for Aam Aadmi due to it’s high ticket rates.
Where Salman khan says, “the ticket rates should not be so high that a common man can’t afford. The movie should not be for the profit, it should be for the audience entertainment’.
We had kept average rate for the Jai ho! for the audience and not for our profit’.
Being a good friend of Aamir Khan, Salman khan has always raised voice for what he feels is wrong. Looking to the audience perspective Salman Khan warns Aamir to keep average ticket rates and keep the financial thing away.
PK is directed by Rajkumar Hirani (producer too) and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Siddharth Roy Kapur. It stars Aamir Khan as the main lead, with Anushka Sharma,Sushant Singh Rajput, Boman Irani and Sanjay Dutt as supporting leads. Hirani has stated that the film will be a satire on “God and Godmen”.
