Salman Khan Was The First To Call Sanjay Leela Bhansali After The Padmavati Attack!

Bollywood has often been targeted for the most unexpected thing. Recently the incident that shook B-town was the one where Sanjay Leela Bhansali was assaulted. Which was based on mere rumours of distorting history in his upcoming film Padmavati.

The fringe group who assaulted him claimed he has added a love-making dream sequence. Which was between Rani Padmavati (Deepika Padukone) and Alauddin Khilji (Ranveer Singh). Which further stains the repute of the great and brave Rajput queen.

Everyone came from B-Town came in support of SLB. Reportedly Salman Khan, who was in Jaipur at that time, immediately called Bhansali when he heard of the shocking news to check on him.

A source close to both of them revealed, “Salman immediately called up Sanjay after the ugly incident in Jaipur on Friday to ask if he was okay. The gesture sure meant a lot to the old friend.”

Salman Khan and Bhansali’s association take them long back to Khamoshi (which was a flop at box-office) and then the superhit Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Salman was visibly upset that despite him always being there for SLB, he went ahead to make Devdas with Shah Rukh Khan and not him. This is when the news of the two falling out came in fore.

After that even though Salman Khan was his first choice for Bajirao Mastani, SLB went ahead and made the film with Ranveer Singh. This also led to Sultan star being miffed.

But seems like the professional misunderstandings do not take forefront in the need of time between these old friends.
