Salman Khan’s Eid release ‘Tubelight’ is one of the most anticipated movies of this year.
While the cast of Salman Khan’s Tubelight is busy promoting the movie, it has been reported that the movie has been trimmed down to 2 hours and 16 minutes. The original playing time of the movie was 2 hours and 35 minutes but, now 19 minutes have been chopped off the actual time. This action has been undertaken by the team after all the post-production work was done.
A well-informed source reveals, ”Kabir Khan’s films are usually lengthier than the stipulated two hours that the multiplex-viewing audience favours. His last film Bajrangi Bhaijaan was nearly three hours long and worked just fine. Tubelight was edited and readied at a run time of two hours and 35 minutes. But the team decided to slash the film by 19 more minutes just a week before its release.”
As per reports, this slashing has made Tubelight the shortest film of Salman Khan in a long time. His last release Sultan was 2 hours 50 minutes long. Before that, Bajrangi Bhaijaan was 2 hours 43 minutes and prior to that Prem Ratan Dhan Payo was almost 3 hours long. This makes Tubelight a really unique movie for Salman Khan.
