Bollywood veteran actor Vinod Khanna passes away, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt speaks up.
It’s the end of an era! Bollywood veteran actor Vinod Khanna, who was suffering from cancer, passed away on Thursday morning at Mumbai’s hospital. “Vinod Khanna, who was admitted to the Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital, breathed his last at 11.20 am due to advanced bladder carcinoma”, read the statement from the hospital.
Well, the tributes for Vinod Khanna started flowing immediately after the news of demise broke. Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who has worked with Vinod Khanna in films like Reshma, Khoon Ka Karz, Reshma Aur Shera, is quite shocked with the news.

In a statement, Sanjay Dutt said, “It is saddening to hear of the demise of Vinod Khanna ji. I have watched him as a child and throughout my life was always fascinated by his style and charisma. He was always a thorough gentleman. A big loss to the fraternity. He is and always will be family to the Dutts. May his soul rest in peace. My deepest condolences to Kavita Bhabhi, Akshay, Rahul and Sakshi.”
Vinod was a sitting Bharatiya Janata Party member of the Lok Sabha from the Gurdaspur constituency in Punjab. The actor is survived by wife Kavita Khanna and his four children, Rahul Khanna, Akshaye Khanna, Sakshi Khanna and Shraddha Khanna. The last film he appeared in was Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale alongside Shah Rukh Khan.
