Here’s Why Shahid Kapoor Apologizes To Varun Dhawan On A Red Carpet!

The Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor was seen apologizing to Varun Dhawan at a recent Award Show.

A whole bunch of celebrities were spotted at the recent HT Most Stylish Awards. Those also included actors Shahid Kapoor and Varun Dhawan. While the two of them have never worked with each other, they share a praiseworthy attitude for each other’s works. Shahid has even come up praising Varun as one of the most talented actors of the future generation.

The two of them were recently spotted having a few exchange of words at the red carpet as they met. Shahid was seen congratulating Varun Dhawan for the success of his recent release, Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya and also apologizing for the fact that he was not present at the screening. Shahid said, “I am really sorry I couldn’t make it that day. All good?” To this Varun was seen replying, “Thank You! Thank You! Yes all good.”

Shahid also interacted with media talking about his upcoming project Padmavati, which has been facing a lot of issues. Shahid, justifying Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati says, “We are hoping that the film’s shoot goes on smoothly and people watch the film once it releases across the theaters without being biased. After watching the film, they can say whatever they want to. Sanjay sir is ensuring he doesn’t hurt anyone’s sentiments; he won’t do anything that will create issues. This entire year is dedicated to Padmavati. We will complete the shoot and bring it out this year.”

Padmavati is a film based on Rani Padmini (Deepika Padukone) who was Rana Rawal Ratan Singh’s (Shahid Kapoor) wife and Alauddin Khilji (Ranveer Singh), who invaded Mewar due to his desire of capturing Rani Padmini. The film is expected to release in Diwali, this year.
