Mira who is pregnant is in her third trimester right now and if reports are to be believed, the baby will arrive somewhere in middle of September. This would be around the time ‘Rangoon’ releases. Shahid is apparently very excited and he has even admitted this on social media. Shahid, who has completed 13 years in the Bollywood industry last week, was part of a Question-and-Answer session on Twitter during which he was asked how excited he is for the baby. He said that ‘excited would be a huge understatement’ when it came to the baby.

Sources close to the couple say that Shahid is keeping a close watch on his bride since it is their first child. Apparently, Mira has been craving certain foods which Shahid has dutifully been bringing to her and he even accompanies her to all the doctor’s appointments. Mira who hails from Delhi, has been living in Mumbai after the nuptials and it has still not been made clear which of these cities the baby will be delivered in. Mira is apparently glowing throughout the pregnancy and was complemented on the same at Preity Zinta’s bash last week.

The next film that Shahid will be seen in is ‘Udta Punjab’ releasing on June 17th this year. The film after that will be ‘Rangoon’ in mid-September. Shahid has not signed any films after that probably because between promotions and premiers, the new father will be too busy to shoot for a film. Maybe this is an unofficial paternity leave of sorts?[/tps_footer]
