The Telugu star is asking for a staggering 80 crore to act in movies
The Magnum Opus ‘Baahubali’ has garnered accolades for the lead actor Prabhas from all around the world. The appreciation and attention that he received and is receiving after Baahubali: The Conclusion was released is something that cannot be ignored and well, he deserves it.
But, recent developments have stated that this success had gone up to his head and Prabhas is demanding Rs 80 crore for signing a film. Not even the Khans of Bollywood ask that much of amount for signing a film. Prabhas is seriously trying to ask for something that’s not quite possible. A Bollywood producer told rediff.com, “I was keen to cast Prabhas immediately to cash in on Baahubali’s success. I was told by his team that his next assignment is a Telugu film and thereafter his price would be up to Rs 75 crores.”

The producer also said, ”No actor in India gets that kind of money. If Prabhas is being advised by his team to ask for that kind of money, they need to be urgently reminded that Baahubali did not succeed because of Prabhas,” the producer adds.
“If anyone, director (S S) Rajamouli should be charging that kind of money. Rajamouli, I hear, has not hiked his remuneration at all,” the producer says. Many more producers of Bollywood would be very keen to cast him in their movies but it would be quite hard for a producer to cash out such a hefty amount of money. Producers are disappointed.
After the success of Baahubali, casting Prabhas would be so beneficial for many. But, success is always the hard way around. One can only wish that Prabhas reduces his signing fees so that producers can afford it.
