She was found dead in her Chennai home. This news came out after Shan‘s mother gave her calls and got no answer which made her get worried, if Shan is fine or not ? then she went to see her daughter at her home where she lived separately and she saw her daughter lying dead in front of her. A sight which no parent would even like to dream about, but this happened in reality and then she reported to Police and further investigations started.

Till now, nothing is revealed about her sudden death. Difficult to even know or assume a cause for such an artist’s death who has given songs in ‘Engeyayum Eppothdum‘ and ‘Paravai‘, ‘Praise the Lord‘ and “Thira, she had written the Hindi lyrics for a song in Vettah, an upcoming Malayalam film.
