MUMBAI: For her upcoming film Chaarfutiya Chhokare, Soha Ali Khan plays the role of an NRI, who tries to educate street kids. In this movie based on the social problem of child-trafficking, Soha had to enact a scene where she is tragically molested by a bunch of brutal men.
Not comfortable at all, the actress requested the director to shoot the sequence within closed doors. After the shooting, Soha was quite affected and burst into tears. A source reported, “Soha was emotionally drained while shooting the sequence. In this particular scene, the goons drag her down to the floor and rip off her shirt and manhandle her.”
Assistant Director Ramzan who was present during the shoot confirmed, “While doing the scene, Soha was badly bruised and even had to take medical aid.” Producer of the film, Vibha Dutta Khosla, admired the actress’ effort, and said, “Being a thorough professional, Soha understood that the scene was essential to the storyline and immediately agreed to shoot for it.”
