MUMBAI: Bollywood actress and yummy mummy Lara Dutta is a firm believer in good health and healthy living. This is probably why she was the chosen face to launch Adani Wilmar Ltd’s Fortune Rice Bran Health Oil in Mumbai.
The lovely lady was spotted at the launch of Adani Wilmar Ltd’s Fortune Rice Bran Health Oil at the Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai, in a gorgeous embroidered Manish Malhotra anarkali outfit.
The actress isn’t one to rest on her previous laurels, and revealed that she is keen to dabble in various aspects of film-making. She even has grand plans of turning director sometime in the future. “I am a producer today and I know at some point of time I would like to try my hand at direction and I don’t think it is too far down in the future. I think it will happen eventually,” Lara said.
The 34-year-old is married to ace tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi and is donning many hats right now – she is an actor, producer, designer, a perfect homemaker and a doting mother to her daughter Saira.
The lady says she will always be connected to the film industry, in some capacity or other. “Even if I am acting or not, but through some production or my husband’s production (Bheegi Basanti), I will constantly be associated with the Indian film industry,” she said.
Added Lara, “I take a lot of chance. I throw myself off the deep end and sometimes I am terrified doing it. But then I think if I don’t take those chances, then it’s like nothing ventured and nothing lost. I think I have grown tremendously with all the risks I have taken,” Lara said.
The actress who has worked in movies like “Bhagam Bhag”, “No Entry” and “Housefull”, will be next seen in Bejoy Nambiar’ movie “David”, which also stars Neil Nitin Mukesh, Tabu, Vinay Virmani and Isha Sharvani. The movie is expected to release some time next year.
