Actress Tamannaah Bhatia, who plays the role of Avanthika in Baahubali, has clarified about the supposed tiff with director SS Rajamouli.
Director SS Rajamouli has failed to provide clarity on the role played by actress Tamannaah Bhatia in Bahubali 2 : The Conclusion. She does not have any dialogue in the movie. Tamannaah Bhatia had played Avanthika in Baahubali: The Beginning, the first part in the Baahubali franchise. Avanthika is seen playing the role of a rebellious warrior. The movie had a good scope for performance and in fact, her screen presence was larger than Anushka Shetty.
Baahubali 2 has all the focus on Baahubali, Bhallaladeva, Devasena, Katappa and Avantika has no place there. Baahubali makers have teamed up with several brands and given ample time for them, which is more than that of Avantika. Now, the fans of Tamannaah have expressed disappointment on social media. However, it was rumoured that Rajamouli was upset with the actress for some reasons. Hence, he chopped off her scenes from the movie. Hence, the actress was not seen in many promotional activities.
Tamannaah Bhatia had earlier said that she played a crucial part in the climax of Baahubali 2.
“I am primarily in the climax of the film. So yes, you will see a lot of me in the climax. Last time, I wasn’t required in the climax, but this time, the war will have a lot of me. And I can’t reveal more than this, but I am the reason why the climax takes place,” the actress quoted.
Only a few roles turn out to be so exciting that every actor would love to do those roles when they knock their doors. Kangana Ranaut’s role in ‘Queen’ is one such that would become every actor’s dream. The Tamil and Telugu remake of this women-centric film went to Tamannah Bhatia. Now, that both the remakes got shelved, do you think Tamannah is moaning about missing out a great opportunity to portray a superbly written role? Nah.
Besides confirming the news about the project being shelved, Tamannah Bhatia has no regrets or isn’t upset whatsoever. She is very happy with the way things have turned out for her after ‘Baahubali‘. After the magnum opus, she is getting some great offers and some of them are women-centric roles. So, missing out one didn’t upset her, at all. As of now, The epic drama has crossed over Rs.1000 Crores only in the first 10 days of its release.
When asked about her tiff with director of the magnum opus Baahubali, Tamannaah Bhatia quoted,
“I am proud to be a part of Baahubali 2.”
Which clearly states that the actress has no complaints with the celebrated director of the Baahubali franchise SS Rajamouli.
