You can’t miss Anushka Sharma’s reaction to social menacing.
Social media trolling has become a new form of bullying; more so it can be termed as online bullying. Right from a commoner like Gurmeher Kaur to celebs in B-Town like Anushka Sharma, Alia Bhatt and other actresses to even politicians have been at the receiving end of online bullying – trolling.
Anushka Sharma was trolled to no extent when her boyfriend and cricketer, Virat Kohli flopped in the ODI World Cup semifinal against Australia. Virat Kohli sent out a strong message to these trollers and added that Anushka has been a source of positivity for him.
Anushka, who is gearing up for her upcoming movie Phillauri, was asked about her reaction to this social menace of trolling. And her reply was bang on!
She said, “I think people should understand that the ones who talk like this (troll and abuse others) who troll you are cowards. Trolling is an act of cowardice. And if the person is actually nice and is doing well and moving forward in life will have no time for these things. Only useless people have time for talking such senseless things.”
Well said Anushka! No person with dignity and work in life will have time for such lowly thoughts.
Directed by Anshai Lal and produced by Anushka, Phillauri is a romantic comedy film based on a story of a friendly ghost, Shashi.
