Proud daughter in law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was also in praises for Big B. Addressing Amitabh Bachchan as ‘Paa’, Aishwarya said that Big B deserved to win National award and every performance of the megastar deserves to be celebrated.
“It is not the first time (he is winning the national award). He deserved it. We are very very proud that Paa (Amitabh Bachchan) won the national award yet again for a performance he deserved,”Aishwarya Rai Bachchan told reporters at an event.

Other than Amitabh Bachchan, Kangana Ranaut bagged ‘Best Actress’ award for ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns‘ and Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan‘ received ‘Best Popular Film’ award. Also, Sanjay Leela Bhansali won ‘Best Director’ award for ‘Bajirao Mastani‘ starring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra.
