Watch: Kattapa Himself Gives The Answer To Why He Killed Baahubali!

The much nerve-wrecking and brain-churning question which has taken 2 whole years to get the answer for – why Kattapa killed Baahubali?

Baahubali – The Beginning got its due much later and audiences have seen the movie eventually much after its release. But the hype and craze around it is making everyone desperately wait for the release of its sequel – Baahubali – the Conclusion.

It’s exactly a month to its release and with each passing day we come closer to getting the answer to this much haunting question. However, what if we told you we can give the answer to you?

Well, yes. And who told us? It’s Kattapa himself!! At the pre-release audio event held in Hyderabad on March 26, Sathyaraj (playing Kattapa in the film) himself revealed why Kattappa killed Baahubali – “Producers, Shobu sir and Prasad sir paid me very well. And Rajamouli told me to kill Baahubali, so I killed him.”

There, we have the honest answer!! Doesn’t it make sense? And the audience took his wit with a roaring applause. Kattappa further added – “Otherwise how can I kill Prabhas? He has been my darling since Mirchi.”

Isn’t that super sweet? Well, that means, the cat is still pretty much in the bag and will be out only on the day of film’s release.

There are speculations after watching the promo that suggest that Kattapa did so on the orders of Baahubali himself as it was for the better of their kingdom.

The trailer received 50 million views in 24 hours in 4 languages combined, which is a record in itself. Talking about record breaking, Baahubali 2 is going to release in the highest number of screens – 6500!!

Reports suggest that makers have already made INR 400-500 crore as part of tis theatrical right, satellite rights, merchandise and other things.

Starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamanaah and Anushka Shetty in pivotal star cast, this magnum opus is slated to release on April 28.
