Watch: Shah Rukh Khan For The First Time Speaks Up On How This Hospital Saved AbRam’s Life!

Shah Rukh Khan speaks up on how Nanavati hospital saved AbRam’s hospital.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has had a long association with Nanavati Hospital. The relationship started off as that of a doctor and patient and reached a new level. Last evening, he inaugurated their bone marrow centre.

Talking about his association, Shah Rukh Khan said, “I have come here with injuries post stunts, and have been coming here for the past 25 years.”

Shah Rukh Khan continued, “My association with the hospital started as a patient. Doctor Ali Irani has looked after me, after my sister, my wife, and even my third child, AbRam.”

Speaking about how at birth, AbRam was not unwell and was saved by the doctors at Nanavati, the Raees star said, “Not many know that my third child, AbRam was born, he was too unwell and was hospitalised. He was rushed to the pediatric section here even before we could meet him. My child was genuinely saved by this hospital.”

Talking about strange circle of life he said it was quite a co-incidence that AbRam was saved in the same ward that was name after his late mother, Lateef Fatima Khan. He revealed, “It’s a strange cycle. The ward that they have named after my mother, by their own will and graciousness, I am very grateful to them for that. AbRam was saved there by the hospital.”

Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri’s youngest child AbRam was born through surrogacy in May 2013 and since then has been the centre of their family’s happiness.
