The Bollywood actress, Priyanka Chopra, who is now an international icon, is climbing the success stairs with each passing day. The actress, who has been balancing Bollywood and Hollywood together, has now added one more feather in her success hat.
According to a report of hollywoodreporter.com, the Barfi actress has been appointed as a jury member in the 16th edition of Tribeca Film Festival. The jury panel which the actress has joined also includes famous Hollywood celebs like the filmmaker Amy Berg, actors Zachary Quinto and Willem Dafoe, and TV producer Sheila Nevins.
She will be looking after the 2017 Documentary and Student Visionary Competitions alongside Olivia Thirlby, Ryan Eggold, Brendan Fraser and Ileen Gallagher. The final announcement of the winners will be made at the Tribeca Film Festival Awards ceremony on April 27, this year. The festival which will be hosted by Michael Rapaport is going to run through April 19 to April 30.
The actress became famous in the international industry after playing the role of Alex Parrish in the famous TV series, Quantico. Previously also, Priyanka has had several international recognitions including the Oscar Awards and Emmy Awards, where she was one of the presenters. She also made it to the cover pages of several magazines. Not to forget, the actress has won The People’s Choice Awards twice.
She has been honoured with Padma Shri in the year 2016. The actress has recently got the appraisal of being the second most beautiful women in the world, being just behind Beyonce. This was a poll conducted by LA-based media network Buzznet, where Priyanka left behind some of the world’s most loved beauties like Emma Watson, Angelina Jolie and Hillary Clinton.
