Bollywood’s Dabangg, Salman Khan who has been hosting Bigg Boss since five seasons, had handed over the hosting power to director Farah Khan during Bigg Boss 8 this year. It was quiet upsetting for the viewers to see their favourite star handing his charge to Farah Khan, as the actor has been the favourite face of the Bigg Boss and audiences.
We all know the real power of reality show Bigg Boss lies under the credits of Salman Khan. But due to his shooting schedules for Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Salman Khan had to quit Bigg Boss 8 in the middle despite of he not wanting to leave.
But later, Farah Khan who hosted the extended part of Bigg Boss 8 Halla Bol was appreciated and loved by the audiences. The TRP of the show remained stable with Farah Khan’s magic and her bindaas attitude.

Bigg Boss seasons come back to back every year and has reached season 8, so the question arrives will Salman Khan host Bigg Boss season 9? Well we do have answer for the question and that to by Salman Khan himself.
During a recent interview with DNA, Salman Khan was asked about Bigg Boss this year. To which the actor replied, “I don’t know. The channel hasn’t asked me. I think Farah (Khan) is doing it. She hosted the latter part of it last year and the TRPs had increased. They realised Farah is a better choice!”
Well, this would be a disappointment for all the Salman Khan fans if the actor wont be a part of Bigg Boss 9 this year!
On the work front, Salman Khan is currently busy with the promotions of Bajrangi Bhaijaan, directed by Kabir Khan. The film has become the most awaited film of the year and is releasing this month on Eid. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui along with Salman Khan in the lead roles.
