Akshay Kumar Tops Opening Day Collections With Gabbar Is Back


Akshay Kumar starrer action thriller Gabbar Is Back has reached number one position by achieving the highest first day occupancy rate of Bollywood films in 2015. The film that released today on May 1st has managed to acquire the best opening of this year amongst Hindi films.

The occupancy rate of the film has reached approximately up to 45% in just one day leaving all the other films behind. Some of the reasons behind the massive number of people going to watch the film can be Akshay Kumar’s reputation for doing good family drama films and the holiday being enjoyed on account of International Labour Day.

Akshay’s previous film Baby that was also an action thriller received 25% occupancy in comparison and thus it is safe to say that the actor has surpassed his own records. Audiences that watched the film have already started giving their thumbs up and recommending the power packed action thriller to everyone else. The film is receiving positive reaction from the audiences and the critics as they loved Akshay’s serious role in the film.
