Akshay Kumar’s new film Its Entertainment has managed to make a huge dent in the business of Sajid Nadiadwala and Salman Khan’s Kick . Its Entertainment has taken up a lot of the screen space from Kick.
While Akshay Kumar‘s Its Entertainment First Day Collections stood in the range of Rs 100 million ( Rs 10 crores) net as per early estimates on its first day at the indian box office. The film managed to make a dent to the superb run of Salman Khan‘s Kick by taking away a lot of multiplex and single screens. Salman Khan’s Kick managed to collect only Rs 15 million (1.5 crores) net on Friday.
While Salman Khan’s Kick will manage to become the second highest grossing film of all time by crossing Shahrukh Khan’;s Chennai Express collections but unable to beat Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3 collections at the indian box office. The dent in the business has already affected the chances of beating Dhoom 3 collections. Yet Sajid Nadiadwala’s Debut directorial venture is a huge success and has put him in the top spot. Overall the film has great collections in the overseas territories as well.
With Kick still doing well and mixed reviews for Its Entertainment, it remains to be seen how Akshay Kumar ‘s Its Entertainment fares over the weekend. Life time collections of Salman Khan’s Kick at the indian box office would be now in the range of Rs 2.2 billion (220 million Rs ) net for its lifetime business.
