MUMBAI: Salman Khan’s Bodyguard has taken a super duper opening at multiplexes across India. The movie opened at multiplexes and single screens across the country on Wednesday.
Given by the initial reaction to the movie, Bodyguard is all set to give tough competition to previous opening weekend toppers like Dabangg, Ready and 3 Idiots.
According to initial reports, multiplexes in metros saw packed houses in the morning show for Bodyguard. Moreover, the five day festive Eid weekend is only going to bolster collections for the movie.
Also slated to release alongside Bodyguard are movies like That Girl In Yellow Boots, Bas Ek Tamanna, Bol and Mummy Punjabi. While chances for these films are bleak at the box office, they might have a spillover audience in those who failed to get tickets for Bodyguard.
