MUMBAI: Currently running films – Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Gangs Of Wasseypur-II’ and Pooja Bhatt’s ‘Jism 2’ have seen quite a dull performance at the box-office this weekend, as the release date of Salman Khan starrer ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ arrives closer.

While ‘Jism 2’, who’s main attraction is Indo-canadian porn star Sunny Leone, started off on a good note in its opening weekend – it’s weekday collections were very average. And now, in its second weekend the film has seen a strong backslide. With close to an 80% drop, the second weekend total is approximately Rs 36 million (Rs 3.6 crore) net.

On the other hand, ‘Gangs of Wasseypur II’ having a dull opening on Wednesday, has not made any major headway over the weekend. The film’s five day total plus paid previews is in the range of Rs 152.5 million (Rs 15.25 crore) net. Now, with only two days remaining before the release of the much awaited ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, there is very little hope for current releases.
