MUMBAI: This week’s new Hindi releases Chala Mussaddi Office Office, I Am Kalam, Hair Is Falling, Chuttanki and Warning took a dull opening at the box office on Friday.
On the other hand, Fox Star Studios’ Rise Of The Planet Of Apes, which released across 450 single screen theaters across India in Hindi and English, saw a decent opening with average occupancy of approximately 40-45 per cent.
The occupancy across theaters for all the new Hindi movies released this week was very poor.
On the other hand, previous releases like the Ajay Devgn starrer Singham and the Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol starrer Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara are still finding favour with the audience at multiplexes.
