Box Office: Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai picks up over weekend

MUMBAI: Balaji Motion Pictures’ Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai (OUATIM), directed by Milan Luthria, has done decent business at the box office in its opening weekend.

As was reported earlier by Businessofcinema.com, the opening day (Friday) net collections of the movie stood at Rs 59.80 million (Rs 5.98 crore). OUATIM picked up considerable pace over Saturday and Sunday going by the positive word of mouth. As per early estimates with Businessofcinema.com, the movie collected approximately Rs 70 million (Rs 7 crore) on Saturday and Rs 90 million (Rs 9 crore) on Sunday.

The opening weekend net collections of the movie stand at approximately Rs 220 million (Rs 22 crore).

The movie did net collections of Rs 96.20 million (Rs 9.62 crore) in Bombay over the three days: Friday – Rs 2.62 crore, Saturday – Rs 3 crore, Sunday – Rs 4 crore. On the other hand, in Delhi, the movie’s net collections for the weekend were in the range of Rs 45.50 million (Rs 4.55 crore). Sunday saw OUATIM picking up across most centers in India.   

Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai stars Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Kangana Ranaut and Prachi Desai.
